In 1993, MDA started
off as an Application Marketing Associate of IBM providing high quality
solutions to customer problems. As a result of business potential, MDA
activities were organized under four divisions. The Computer Systems
Division is concerned with the hardware software solutions. The Defense
Systems Division primarily deals with DOD related activities, and the Iron
and Steel Division is focused on Steel Industry. Lately a Foreign Trade
Division was included.
Computer Systems Division
Often a packaged or the off-the- shelf modules that make up a system
do not provide the necessary functionality required. In such cases, MDA will
develop the application programs needed for the required functions. For
example developing accounting, finance, and inventory control applications
running on a relational DBMS, or in conjunction with a health system is
being realized by MDA.
MDA specializes in DBMS Application Development in different business areas.
In this respect we are a member of the ORACLE Business Alliance Program as
well as the VAR. of the PROGRES Corporation.
MDA also provides consultancy services in the areas of software engineering
environments, object oriented design and development, object oriented
database management systems, management information systems, software
engineering process models and software engineering standards.
Defense Systems Division
This group follows up the projects in the Department of Defense. We are
actively tracking the status of the CALS, Command and Control, Military
Hospital Systems, Rehabilitation Center, Aircraft Modernization Projects.
Iron and Steel Division
